| Caption: The Nigersaurus flesh reconstruction was sculpted over a skeletal cast for accuracy. The peeling, scaly skin is based on fossilized sauropod skin impressions. A bill-like sheath of keratin protected the ends of the jaws, as evidenced by grooves for blood vessels on the jaw bones. |
